I’m so excited to be debuting my first children’s book, Sneaky Snack Sunday!
Written in collaboration with my daughter, Mo Fitzgerald, whose illustrations and editing bring this fun body changing story to life.
A retired special education teacher, I found myself writing poems and stories when unable to use my own body in ways that I had formerly loved. Mo challenged me to find other outlets to find and define myself.
“What else are you doing, Mom?!?”
Encouraged by my family, this first book is inspired by two real life “snacking” situations.
Oregon is home and I’m lucky to have 3 great creative kids, a husband who loves to serenade me, and wonderful friends. The mother/daughter collaboration across the country has been a blast.
The fun doesn’t stop, as another story is in the works with daughter Keegan.
